Working in a foreign country
I met an Indonesian girl last night. She lives in Berkeley and studies geology as a postgraduate. In the conversation, she said that she left Indonesia because the salary had been too low and there had been not much freedom. She also hopes to work in Japan. Upon talking to her, I worried about Japanese future and my fortunate standing at the same time. Let’s dig into what exactly I think.
It is obvious that Japanese economy has not developed these days and the aging society will make it worse in the future. Numerous countries which Japan regarded are not as strong as our economy will catch up and go beyond for sure. If this happens, I believe Japanese citizens are fallen into the similar situation of her. That concerns me so much.
No one can predict future precisely, which causes our negligence toward future. We are not aware of the gravity of the situation we face. I had to plan and act promptly to survive and make the most of my life. Fortunately, I am studying in the US now and have a chance to win the ideal future if I keep making strenuous efforts.
Take time and be active while I am young.
As I spoke with her, I contemplated the future
The Japanese economy is expected to exacerbate this issue
If this scenario happens, we will find ourselves in a situation similar to hers.
Many countries considered economically inferior to Japan are expected to reach and even exceed the Japanese economic standing in the years ahead.
