Review of this semester
Since I landed on SFO on August 9th, almost 4 months passed.
I gonna review my days this semester.
There are largely two points to describe my successful and
regretable actions.
First, in terms of studying, I couldn’t make a difference. Nothing changed regarding English skills, critical thinking, discussion skills, knowledge, and so forth.
Initially I expected my English skills would be significantly improved, but it turned out there were few opportunities to practice English because of few classes, my personality of preferring to be alone, and my
lack of confidence.
This is a critical problem because I come here to make my English skills an advantage in the future.
My plan is to read news articles, write a blog everyday, use matching app to talk with local girls, and simply studying grammars and pronunciation as a routine.
Input→Output, Step by step.
To be fluent in English.
Next, in the respect of activities, I would praise myself. I did a lot of things for extra curriculum activities, such as starting a new club, getting a position in other club, winning two competitions, and internship.
These would be strong materials for the future. I need to use these to look back myself and proceed to next steps.
I know can do it. While I am young.
